When you request a quote, call, text, or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, company, phone number, email address, the site address or parcel, the type of work, site access and acreage, your timeline, drawings or permit status, any budget range you share, links or files you send us, and how and when you prefer to be contacted. If you start our quote form and do not finish it, we keep what you entered so we can follow up.
We also collect information automatically when you visit this site: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, referring page, the pages you view, and which campaign or ad brought you here. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for this, including technology that helps recognize returning visitors and associate site activity with an email address.
How we use it
Quoting the work, doing the work, and staying in touch.
We use the information to respond to your request, walk the site, prepare and send bids, schedule and perform the work, keep job records, invoice for work performed, send occasional offers, measure which advertising works, and improve this site.
Requests outside our area
If your site is too far out, your request goes to another contractor.
Grade Worx works a roughly 50-mile radius from its Goldendale yard. Our quote form asks which town your site is in. If you tell us your town is not on that list, we treat the request as outside our service area and pass it to our service network, which routes it to an excavation contractor who covers your area. That contractor receives the details you submitted and may contact you about the work. If you would rather we did not do that, call or text us instead of using the form.
Calls and text messages
Your consent, and what we never do with your number.
When you check the consent box on our quote form, you agree that Grade Worx and our marketing partner Audience AI may call, text, or email you about your request and with occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not required to get a quote — you can call or text us instead and get the same service.
Where your number goes. When you opt in, we share your contact details and the record of your opt-in with Audience AI. Audience AI may send you its own messages, under its own name and its own privacy policy, as well as messages on our behalf. Reply STOP to any message to stop messages from whoever sent it. Depending on where you live, this sharing may count as a sale of personal information or as targeted advertising, and you can opt out of it at any time — see your choices below. We do not otherwise sell your mobile number.
We keep a record of the exact consent wording you were shown, the page you were on, and the date and time you agreed, so we can show what you actually consented to.
Advertising and measurement
Partners who help us reach and recognize visitors.
We work with third-party marketing and analytics providers — including Audience AI — that use cookies, pixels, and identity-resolution technology on this site. These partners may recognize visitors, associate site activity with contact information such as an email address, and use that information for our marketing and for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. If you were identified this way, you may receive email from us, and you can unsubscribe from any of it using the link in the message.
Sharing
Who else sees your information.
We share information with providers who work on our behalf — our quote-form and lead-routing platform, email and messaging providers, scheduling and bookkeeping tools, and the marketing partners described above — and with suppliers, subcontractors, or other trades when your job requires it. We also share information when the law requires it, to protect people or property, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. Sharing with the marketing partners described above — including the contact details and opt-in record of anyone who opts in — may count as a sale of personal information or as targeted advertising under state law. You can opt out of it at any time.
Your choices
Opting out, and asking us for your data.
Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop those emails. Your browser settings control cookies, and we honor recognized universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where they apply.
If you live in Oregon, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold, provide a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for targeted advertising or profiling — and you may appeal if we decline. We will honor those requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live, and we will not treat you differently for asking. Handling and retention
What we keep, and what not to send us.
We keep request, bid, and job records as long as we need them for service, accounting, warranty, and legal purposes, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect them. No website or email is perfectly secure. Do not send card numbers, bank details, or government identification numbers by text or email.
This site is meant for adults arranging excavation and sitework, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
